CCAC graduate student Michael Walden was elected the chair of the President’s Council of Student Advisors (PCSA) this year. Amanda Bellafatto, also a CCAC student, has been selected for a one-year terms as a PCSA delegate. The PCSA is the student leadership committee within The American Ceramic Society (ACerS).

ACerS PCSA is responsible for representing student interests to ACerS and its subsidiary committees, divisions, sections, and classes. The PCSA is the primary face of ACerS to ceramics and materials science students. The role of the PCSA delegate is to represent their collegiate institution to PCSA, as well as representing the PCSA and ACerS to their academic department.

Also from the CCAC, Jai Sharma and Shannon Rogers are the new student representatives to the Colorado Section of ACerS.
