We’re proud to announce that Colorado Center for Advanced Ceramics (CCAC) Director Dr. Ivar Reimanis and former graduate student Dr. Dylan Jennings have co-authored a research paper that has been selected as one of the best recent publications in inorganic and physical chemistry by Nature Communications editors. The paper, titled “Direct atomic-scale investigation of the coarsening mechanisms of exsolved catalytic Ni nanoparticles,” represents groundbreaking research in materials science and has earned recognition among the top 50 papers in its field.
Dr. Jennings, who earned his PhD in Materials Science from Colorado School of Mines, collaborated with an international research team including Dr. Ivar Reimanis, who is the sole Mines co-author. The research has been featured prominently on Nature Communications’ Editors’ Highlights webpage, which showcases exceptional recent publications in the energy field, covering aspects such as harvesting, conversion, production, storage, and consumption. This recognition demonstrates the continued impact of CCAC’s research and the success of our alumni in advancing the field of advanced ceramics and materials science on a global scale.
