Dr. Mozur, a CCAC faculty member, has been named a recipient of the 2025 Undergraduate Research Mentor Award, selected from a competitive pool of nominated faculty for her exceptional mentorship of undergraduate researchers at Colorado School of Mines. The award, organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research, recognizes faculty and graduate student mentors who provide enriching research experiences for undergraduates.
One student nomination highlighted the profound impact of her guidance: “Dr. Mozur’s mentorship has transformed me academically, professionally, and personally. Under her guidance, I’ve developed into a confident researcher capable of solving complex synthesis problems, creating publication-quality figures, and effectively communicating research to diverse audiences. Her holistic approach to mentorship extends to actively creating professional opportunities, opening doors that will shape my future scientific career.” The award will be officially announced at the Spring 2025 Undergraduate Research Symposium, where Dr. Mozur will receive a commemorative plaque honoring her dedication to mentoring Mines’ undergraduate researchers.
