CCAC Director, Geoff Brennecka, has launched an initiative to encourage both top senior and promising young researchers to visit and collaborate with the ceramics research community at the Colorado School of Mines. Visiting scholars are invited to stay for anywhere from a month to the length of a full sabbatical.
These researchers will be provided funding for equipment use as well as support to offset travel expenses.
Dr. Brennecka is leveraging funds available from his Coors Chair appointment in order to establish the CCAC Visiting Scholars program. The hope is to increase collaboration in the Ceramics field and reduce barriers for visitors coming to work at Mines. Click here for more details.
